Life on the Lazy B
Lived By an American Cowboy and Rancher

The 200,000 acre Lazy B cattle ranch in southern Arizona and New Mexico was homesteaded in 1880. H Alan Day, third generation to grow up on the ranch explores the ranching and cowboying life from the chuck wagon years of his youth through the 40 years that he managed the Lazy B.

Enjoy an exhibit of the art of Effie Anderson Smith - Pioneer Artist. At 11 am, Steven Carlson, Curator of the EA Smith Archive will speak on Effie´s life and art in Arizona Mrs. E.A. Smith, Arizona´s first nationally known impressionist landscape painter, spent more than five and a half decades living in and painting the desert and mountain vistas of Cochise County. This year would have been her 150th birthday.
